The Fire House

Here are a few photos of the construction of our new building, which has been erected just behind the West Creston Community Hall. It will be known as the "Fire House". Although it progressed slowly at times over a 3 month period in the Spring of 2007, the end result is fantastic. "Thank you" to all the volunteers who helped with the project, some who appear in the photos below.

Also, "Thank you" to the West Creston Community Hall Society for sharing their space with us.

The building is a 25´ X 32´ steel structure on a concrete slab, and will be used to store the water pumper, fire fighting equipment, and safety apparel. A large portion of the funding for this project was provided by a BC Gaming Commission Direct Access Grant.
